Some banks are reporting that their customers are receiving calls saying their cards have been breached. Then, they are asked for their identifying information or given a number to call back. We do call our customers if your card has been breached, but we will NOT ask for your information since we are the ones’ that made that call and have your information on file. *Below is a link about a phone scam called “Can you hear me?”  Basically what happens is you get a call from a someone who almost immediately asks “Can you hear me?”  Their goal is to get you to answer “Yes”.  Once they get a recording of you answering “Yes” they can later edit the sound to make major purchases authorized by you.  The link will also tell you what you can do to avoid this scam happening to you.
