Tim and Sybil Newsletter

Let me begin by taking this opportunity to thank each of you for your continued love and support not only for our Varsity Club Program but also for Hometown Bank as a whole. It is customers like you that make our jobs so much more enjoyable and why we love to come to work. It is also customers like you that have helped grow Hometown Bank over $160 Million in total assets in such a short period of time. It’s hard to believe but we celebrated our eighteenth year this past April and are very excited to see what 2019 has in store for Hometown Bank and our Varsity Club. Sybil has shared with me all the exciting things that you have done this year and the things to come for the rest of 2018. It sounds like you have had an amazing time so far and still have some great things left to do. I apologize that I have not been able to attend many of your functions. This year has been an extra ordinary year for me as I had several eye surgeries and I also served as Chairman for the Kentucky Banker’s Association, which required me to do quite a lot of traveling away from the bank. My term is only for one year and is coming to an end soon and my eye is healing quite well so I do hope to be able to attend some of the functions for the rest of the year.

I was fortunate to recently get a sneak peak of what is on your 2019 itinerary and I have to say WOW! You are going to have a wonderful year! There are so many exciting things on the schedule that there will be something for everyone, so I do hope to see each of you at the Kick Off Party on December 1st. If you have never attended one of our many functions I would like to encourage you to do so. Our Varsity Club members are some of the best of the best and you are guaranteed to make lifelong friends!

Thank you again for being a member of our Hometown Bank Varsity Club!

Your Bank President,
Tim Barnes
